Revision Rhinoplasty

Revision Rhinoplasty refers to the re-nasal aesthetics of a person who has undergone rhinoplasty in order to eliminate functional or aesthetic defects resulting from surgery.

Instead, it can be called "Second Nose Aesthetics" or "Nose Reshaping".

This surgery is suitable for patients who are not satisfied with the first rhinoplasty or for patients who need to correct the defects that occur after rhinoplasty.

If only one area of the nose needs to be intervened in the second surgery, this surgery is called "Retouching Surgery". If more than one area is to be intervened and additional procedures are required, this surgery is called "Revision Rhinoplasty" or "Secondary Rhinoplasty".

Revision rhinoplasty is a rhinoplasty procedure performed for patients who are not satisfied with their first rhinoplasty or who do not get the desired results.

This procedure is done to correct the shape, function or aesthetics of the nose. In revision rhinoplasty, if there is no minimal or urgent need for intervention, at least 6 months, ideally 1 year, should be waited for revision surgeries.

Revision rhinoplasty is performed to correct the problems that occur after the previous rhinoplasty procedure, to improve the shape and function of the nose, or to provide an aesthetic appearance. This procedure should be performed by an experienced surgeon, because revision rhinoplasty is a more difficult and comprehensive procedure and requires an experienced surgeon.

Revision rhinoplasty can vary and may include: reshaping the nasal bone, resizing the nasal tip or nasal bone, correcting the internal structure of the nose, or widening the nostril.

Revision rhinoplasty may require one or more procedures as needed to ensure the best results for patients. However, it is crucial for patients to achieve the results they want and to be satisfied.

Who Is Revision Rhinoplasty Suitable For?

Revision rhinoplasty is suitable for patients who are not satisfied with their first rhinoplasty or who do not get a result that meets their expectations. The following situations may be a suitable option for revision rhinoplasty:
